Rajeev works as a guide for tourists on the island and Anjali is his assistant. When a couple from Cochin,Saritha (Maheshwari) and her husband,Pramod (Surendran), arrive on the island for their honeymoon, Rajeev assigns Anjali to be Sarita's personal guide. Anjali is fascinated by Sarita's style of speech and she starts imitating it which surprises Saritha. Pramod works as an officer in the Central Excise, Bangalore. He is transferred to Chennai and his boss assigns him to trace liquor smugglers in Pondicherry. As he travels to Pondicherry by train he meets Leela (Aditi Balan), who happens to be travelling alone for the first time. Pramod is attracted towards Leela right from the moment he sees her. Pramod later notices that Leela is in Pondicherry to meet someone named Anandam, who happens to be the owner of a company. On Pramod's request, Leela provides Pramod with this information. However, when he starts searching for Anandam in Pondicherry, he fails to find any information about him in the city.
